Conversations around masculinity lack complexity.
Being a man is more than optimization, wealth, or status.
This is a home for observation, where assumptions get tested.
Real questions get practical answers.
I’ve spent the last 15 years working as a cinematographer, building things with my hands, my eye, and other people. Somewhere along the way, I became more interested in how men think, what they optimize for, and why so many feel successful but unsatisfied.
This project is an ongoing examination of modern masculinity, taste, discipline, relationships, work, and self-respect. Some ideas come from philosophy, some from culture, some from lived experience. All of them are tested against real life.
